As 2025 comes to a close, it is a pleasure to reflect on what has truly been a monumental year for the Ontario Prospectors Association. Together, we have strengthened the voice of grassroots exploration, showcased the incredible potential of this province, and demonstrated the vital role our community plays in discovery, jobs, and long‑term prosperity.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, thank you for your commitment to the Ontario Prospectors Association and to the future of mineral discovery in this province. Over the past year, the OPA has taken important steps to modernize and grow. We have renewed our focus on advocacy, engaging more actively with government and regulators to promote a competitive, predictable framework for exploration.
We continue to deepen our relationships with industry partners, service providers, and government as part of our expanded our presence to ensure that Ontario prospectors interests are seen, heard, and valued. At the same time, we have continued the behind‑the‑scenes work on governance, communications, and member services that will allow the Association to better support you in the years ahead.
None of this is possible without an engaged and active membership. Your participation at events, your feedback, and your willingness to share experience and expertise are what give this organization its strength. As we look ahead to 2026, your continued involvement will be key as we build on this year’s progress, advance our advocacy priorities, and roll out new initiatives to support prospectors and explorers across Ontario.
