Critical Minerals Canada is a boutique event focusing on critical minerals, commodities, mining investment, clean energy and low carbon technologies. Bringing the entire mineral resources value chain to Toronto, Ontario, we focus on gathering like-minded industry stakeholders for conversations, networking and learning. With the support of Ontario Prospectors Association (OPA) this year and Steve Virtue, Interim CEO, speaking at this event, we expect even more stakeholders from Ontario joining us this year.
First started in 2017 in Toronto as Mining Investment North America, this event was driven as an investment focused conference and exhibition, connecting mining industry stakeholders with investors from North America and beyond. However, with the recent global shift towards critical minerals for a net zero future, the event was rebranded to Critical Minerals Canada in 2025 to focus more on the role of critical minerals and its impact on Canada.
With an average of 200 attendees (primarily from Ontario as well as other Canadian provinces and United States), the size of this event facilities quality conversations and exchanges between attendees. Our speaker’s lineup is also diverse, with CEOs of mining and energy companies sharing their expertise alongside commodities analysts, investors and PR practitioners. Topics often deep dive into the role of Canada in a globally shifting (and unpredictable) environment where mining and critical minerals are affected by a multitude of factors such as production, pricing, geopolitics, technologies and so on.
